American Action Fund Backs Congressman Massie’s National Constitutional Carry Bill

By AAF | Sep 20, 2024

Last week, Congressman Thomas Massie (KY-4) made national news when he introduced a National Constitutional Carry bill in Washington, D.C. H.R. 9534 would ensure that every law-abiding American can carry a firearm on their person, without having to jump through bureaucratic hoops with waits, prolonged certification, permits, fees, and approval form the government.

Massie’s legislation sets a national standard that, in some form, is already law of the land in the majority of U.S. states.

This legislation is heralded as a major need in a country that seemingly has two classes of people regarding the rights granted in the Second Amendment. Where anti-gun politicians in some states openly and aggressively treat gun rights as if they are not a Constitutional right, and certainly not one to be exercised.

Congressman Massie’s bill would go a long way to rectifying these infringements, as we see courts across the country chip away at egregious anti-gun laws and regulations pushed by the most adamant anti-gun regimes in states like New York, New Jersey, Illinois, California, and Maryland.

In support of the National Constitutional Carry bill itself, American Action Fund has launched a petition page where citizens across the country can register their support for this important legislation — letting their federal officials know that their constituents are asking for this important legislation to become law.

You can check out and sign the petition HERE, and keep your eyes out for additional updates on the fight ahead.
