Activists Blast Georgia Speaker for Tyrannical Actions
By AAF | Feb 19, 2025
Following Georgia Speaker of the House Jon Burns’ unconstitutional arrest of Senator Colton Moore, American Action Fund activists took to the streets and directly engaged with citizens within Burns’ district.
In just one day, American Action Fund activists knocked nearly a thousand doors in House District 159. Residents were amazed and enraged when they learned about the tyrannical actions taken by Burns. As a result, his constituents sent hundreds of emails and flooded his office with phone calls urging him to resign as Speaker of the House.
American Action Fund’s mission is to equip citizens with the means and information to take on the political class. We are taking the fight to corrupt politicians in Georgia and across the country, and we will NOT stop fighting to achieve liberty in our lifetime.
Sen. Colton Moore’s arrest for speaking out against corruption clearly and publicly showed the dark underbelly of Georgia politics colloquially known as the ‘good ole boy system’.
Following the blowback of Burns’ unconstitutional actions, Speaker Burns has backed down from his betrayal of the Constitution and the values that Georgians espouse! Sen. Colton Moore will now be allowed to conduct his duties as the duly elected senator of Georgia’s 53rd district with regards to joint sessions.
In addition to Burns backing down, other Georgia leaders have made concessions to rollback the good ole boy system across the state. The Georgia political class thinks small concessions like this will placate the grassroots, but they are dead wrong. We will NOT stop until Georgia corruption is fully exposed and expunged. Stay tuned for upcoming Days of Action and updates.
