Radical Gun Control Bills Filed in Alabama

Alabama Rep. Kenyatte Hassell wants to force you to get government permission to own an AR-15.

He recently sponsored House Bill 23, which would require law-abiding citizens to get a government permit to purchase or possess a so-called “assault weapon.”

Make no mistake. This is nothing but a gun registry designed to create a list of who owns the guns they hope to one day ban and confiscate!

If you want to buy an AR-15, you’ll first have to ask your sheriff for permission.

If you inherit an AR-15 from your dad, you’ll have 90 days to ask your sheriff for permission to keep it.

If you want to take your AR-15 hunting or leave it in your truck for self-defense, you’ll have to ask your sheriff for permission.

And if you don’t comply…

… they’ll tag you as a felon and strip you of your rights altogether.

That’s not the only gun control that’s already been prefiled for the 2025 legislative session, though.

Rep. Juandalynn Givan wants to make you a felon for owning a bump stock despite the recent Supreme Court ruling that struck down the federal bump stock ban.

She also wants to make you a felon if you allow your children to shoot an AR-15 at the gun range or while hunting.

The radical Left will stop at nothing until we are all disarmed and the government is able to run rampant over our liberty.

But American Action Fund exists to stand in their way by mobilizing an army of grassroots patriots.

Thanks to the work of grassroots activists, we’ve been successful at crushing attempts from both parties to advance gun control in the Yellowhammer State.

When Republican Rep. Reed Ingram told the media he was working with Democrat Sheriff Derrick Cunningham on a bill to gut Alabama’s Constitutional Carry law, we mobilized his constituents to tell him to knock it off!

But we won’t be able to maintain these successes if pro-liberty patriots get complacent.
