What Would a Walz Vice Presidency Mean for Liberty

The mainstream media’s propaganda narrative is that Tim Walz is a boring moderate who brings stability to the Harris campaign, but is that the truth?
An examination of Walz’s record over the last 17 years paints a picture that the establishment and their media cronies don’t want you to see.
During his tenure as Governor, Walz advocated for tax hikes and oversaw the ballooning of the Minnesota budget to more than $272 BILLION a year. He’s proposed spending an additional $10 BILLION of taxpayer money on top of that!
This rapid expansion of government coincides with his decision to sign a litany of radical “progressive” legislation that would make AOC proud.
In 2023, he signed HF 146, which allows children to undergo genital mutilation surgery even if one of the parents is not ok with it. Walz also signed a bill that requires using tax dollars to purchase tampons and place them in both boy’s and girl’s bathrooms in Minnesota public schools.
These radical actions followed his tyrannical reign during the pandemic in 2020 when he issued 117 executive orders related to the virus and extended his emergency powers at least 16 times.
Walz has consistently voted for Green New Deal-style policies that impose burdensome regulations on small businesses and increase the government’s interference in our everyday lives. This earned him high marks from the liberal League of Conservation Voters.
An old proverb says, “A man is known by the company he keeps.”
A brief examination of who supports Walz and who he has affiliated with over the years raises more concerns about his record.
For example, Walz has long supported Big Labor and the Labor Bosses, earning the loyalty of the radically liberal unions who have contributed more than $300,000 directly to his campaigns and spent another $400,000 in independent expenditures to get him elected.
The AFL-CIO is a staunch supporter of Walz, raising serious concerns about his stance on critical liberty issues like the Right to Work. He even scored 93% on their scorecard!
He also spent at least a decade as a member of the Minnesota Teachers Union – a bad omen for school choice proponents.
American Action Fund’s Hazlitt Coalition members have repeatedly stood up to Tim Walz’s tyranny.
Most recently, Senator Nathan Wesenberg stated, “Tim Walz is an authoritarian thug who has proven himself as a leader of the progressive radicals. From jailing business owners during COVID-era tyranny to championing genital mutilation for children, there is nothing Walz won’t do to advance his career at the expense of the American people.”
During the COVID-era tyranny, then-Rep. Erik Mortensen confronted Walz about the arrest of Lisa Hanson for opening her business during the tyrannical lockdowns.
Now that Walz has been elevated to the national spotlight, his record is being shoved under the rug, and the results may be disastrous for liberty-loving patriots across the country.
