Cowboy Staters just won a huge victory for Election Integrity! Liberty legislators passed four major bills which became law last week, each one landing a solid blow to big government and giving the power back to the people! With the passing of these four bills, Wyoming elections are safe from outside interference, ineligible voters, and ridiculous ranked choice voting.
Of the four election integrity bills, House Bill 156 – sponsored by Liberty Representative John Bear – was the hardest won, but the most important. This bill requires voters to provide documentation to prove both U.S. citizenship and Wyoming residency when registering to vote, ensuring that every vote cast is legitimate and reflective of those who truly have a stake in the state’s future.
Capitol insiders reported that Governor Mark Gordon would likely veto HB 156, so American Action Fund sounded the alarm and raised a grassroots army demanding the governor sign the bill. While he did not sign it into law, Governor Gordon submitted to the will of the people and allowed HB 156 to become law without his signature.
Another important election integrity bill, House Bill 165, prohibits ranked choice voting in Wyoming. Sponsored by Representative Joe Webb, the law ensures that elections stay simple and straightforward. Voters will be required to pick only one candidate per office, making the process clear and easy to understand. By banning ranked choice voting, Wyoming keeps its elections traditional and ensures that voters know exactly how their vote will be counted.
House Bill 228 bans private funding in election administration. This bill, sponsored by Representative Chris Knapp, prevents government officials and election administrators from accepting private donations to run elections. The law makes it clear that election funding must come from public sources, keeping elections free from external financial manipulation by woke corporate interests such as Meta Founder Mark Zuckerberg who was instrumental in funneling $400 million to the Center for Tech and Civic Life, an organization that used these funds to drive left leaning voters to vote. The bill ensures that the election process remains impartial and protected from outside cabals.
House Bill 318 strengthens voter roll integrity by allowing the Secretary of State to remove non-citizens from voter rolls. Also sponsored by Representative John Bear, this bill ensures that only eligible voters remain on the registration lists. By using government databases like the SAVE program to verify citizenship, the law provides an additional layer of security to prevent illegal aliens from voting.
American Action Fund played a crucial role in the fight to pass these bills, mobilizing thousands of patriots across the state to demand lawmakers and Governor Gordon secure Wyoming’s elections. Thanks to American Action Fund, the Hazlitt Coalition, and the strong response from grassroots activists, Wyoming is on its way to becoming one of the first in a long line of Liberty Lighthouse States.
Through the dedication of Wyoming’s Liberty Legislators and the active engagement of citizens spurred on by American Action Fund’s calls to action, the state has ensured that its elections will remain transparent, fair, and secure. Wyoming is now even stronger in its commitment to upholding the constitution.
