JD Vance selected as Trump’s Vice Presidential candidate

Late Monday evening, Donald Trump selected JD Vance as his running mate after months of speculation as to whom Trump would select. Vance’s selection was met with praise from many Republicans, including numerous pro-Liberty members of Congress like Congressman Thomas Massie and Senators Rand Paul and Mike Lee.
As a Marine who served in Iraq, Vance has a history of criticizing nation-building and aggressive foreign policy, including the Biden Administration’s policy of unlimited and unaccountable foreign aid for Ukraine.
Vance is not without his critics on the right. He has downplayed concerns over the national debt and U.S. monetary policy and, much like Trump, has actively tried to court Big Labor, which has long been a shill for leftist political causes.
In the end, Republicans find themselves with a VP candidate who has a good track record on the Second Amendment, free speech, taxes, regulations, and foreign policy. Much of that is a win for the liberty movement and the whole country.
